Octopus Card
Your Octopus Card can pay for pretty much everything in Hong Kong. From transport including, trains, buses, trams, ferries, but you can also buy groceries from the supermarket, McDonald’s, pay tolls as you drive and so much more!
The card will initially cost you about $50HKD and then just top up as you need to.

The price of your train journey depends on the zone in where you hop on and off., therefore you will need to tap on and off with your Octopus card.
TIP: Train exits are shown on your google maps to make it easier when following directions to your destination.
Ferry
Ferry prices are usually about $2.60HKD.
The ferry will bridge the gap between the island and the mainland.
On the Ferry from Wan Chai ferry terminal to the main land (Tsim Sha Tsui) be sure to sit on the front left side for the best view of the city. From Central to Tsim Sha Tsui sit on the front left side.
Bus
Bus to the peak is standard $9.60HKD
Bus from airport is standard $40HKD
You will only need to tap your Octopus card as you hop on the bus.
Tram
Tram prices are usually about $2.60HKD.
You will only need to tap your Octopus card as you leave the tram at your destination.
